The AIC Education Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation that provides resources to support construction education

The AIC Education Foundation also generously provides continued funding for The American Professional Constructor: The Journal of the American Institute of Constructors. The journal is a semi-annual peer-reviewed academic publication, is one of the few juried journals for construction educators, students, and practitioners. It contains a wide variety of in-depth articles covering the latest topics of research and adnvancement in the construction industry. Every issue contains both academic and general-interest articles which can be used by students and faculty in teaching, learning, or research activities.

The journal welcomes submissions from both professional academics and practicing constructors. If you are interested in submitting an article for the journal, please download a copy of the Authors' Guide, which contains information on how to format and submit your article.

The AIC honors Francis R. Dugan, FAIC, CPC, for his many years of committed service to the AIC, the AIC Constructor Certification Commission, the AIC College of Fellows, and to the AIC Education Foundation. Fran is the immediate past chairman of the AIC Education Foundation.
